33cl Bottle. Clear golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of some grain, light floral. Flavour is likewise, not much to it. Very bland, light bodied.

Moutig, thee, butterscotch. Ik dacht eigenlijk een IPA te pakken, maar ik keek verkeerd.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before December 2019. Clear, deep amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish aroma of grains, some straw and traces of honey. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, malty and a little herbal taste of grains, straw, a touch of pine and traces of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little herbal and slightly earthy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Probably the most boring beer from this brewery by far, where are the pine needles? Really disappointing!

Bottle shared at Maakuns. Unclear amber pour with thin white head. Sweet malts, sugary honey dipped cardboard, bitter brown peanut skins, fruit syrup, baker’s yeast, earthy dry and bitter. If I imagine pine needles and focus on a virtual image of walking through a forest with gone brown needles on the floor, it gets a liiitle bit better, more enjoyable, but maybe just because of that image in my head. Moderate sweet and strong bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy amber with quite small beige head. Earthy, cooked raspberries, lots of cardboard, that weird stuff inside walnuts that you don’t want to eat, bready, dry plum skins. Medium sweet, quite bitter and light tart. Medium bodied and low carbonation. I usually like Bird beers, but this is weird and not very good.
