Bottled, from the brewery shop. Clear nut brown, lively head. Tart rye bread aroma. Tart with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lots of rye bread, notes of raisins. Low bitterness. Good kvass.

0.32cl bottle from the 24hr shop on market street, Aberdeen. It pours clear mahogany brown a small, frothy white head. The aroma is earthy, bready, toasty grains, cereal, woody, nutty, dried fruits and instant coffee. The taste is sweet - sour, tangy dried fruits, raisin, sultana, supermarket own brand cola, molasses, instant coffee and malt loaf with a sweet finish. Light body and soft, but fluffy carbonation. I like the tang this has, makes it interesting and stops is form the usual over sweetness of kvass.

50cl on tap at Restorāns Meke, Latvia. Pours clear caramel coloured with a small, slightly tanned head. Bready and caramelli with notes of dried fruits. Sweet, but fairly balanced. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

21st November 2022; Monthly Shrewsbury Beer Share, five guys and loads of beer. Small bottle, BB 7th July 2024, cheers Mat. Off-white head on a slightly hazed amber body. Sweet and strange, not nice!

250ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 22. Picked up at Ludlow Market. Hazed deep caramel brown, off-white head. Tastes like an aged barley wine relic. Not a fan.

Smell-weak to medium malt, bread, yeast, well kvass. Foam- thin, malt, bread, sweetness. Head is small, dirty white color, like weak yellow mixed with weak brown. Appearance- simple bottle and generic black bottle cap. Clear, dark red color, ruby. From - snifter Taste - malt, bread, acidic tones, the sweetness is low enough, but citric acid hits through a bit. Nothing special, but not the worst kvass for sure.
