12oz bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 22. Brought by me. Golden yellow appearance, medium white head. Decent malty sweetness, finishing quite dry with a gentle bitterness. Simplistic but no real complaints here.

22nd August 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange, Chez Sophie. Five guys drinking beer and talking shit! Cheers Mat for the 12oz bottle of this Texan brew. Light golden body, clean and clear, wispy white head. Thought this was OK, a little 'thin' both body and depth of flavour wise, dry finish from the hops.

If there's saaz hops here there sure isn't much. Paper and straw. Pours golden with ok head. Clean finish at least. Bottle.

12 oz. twist off, sent to me by Shiner for comment. Slightly gold color under a thick head. Head fizzes away after a while. Smell seems to have a bit of yeast in it. Suggesting this may be filtered instead of pasteurized. Otherwise, some malt and a noble hop in the nose. Taste is a solid light German lager style. I don't think the 15 IBU in this description qualifies it as a hoppy pale lager at all. Just a solid toasty malt taste, clearly an all-malt recipe. Very little aftertaste, just a reminder of the hops on my tongue.

I have a 12 oz bottle acquired from the singles rack at the most-visited HEB supermarket. I twist off the cap and pour into a shaker glass to determine a clear, sparkling yellow body with a thin smattering of off-white foam. The nose is grain and a bit of citrus. I have a drink to get crisp lemon, crackers, straw and water. No hop taste I can really determine, I believe a more fitting style for this brew would be American pale lager. Just my opinion. A truly beer tasting beer. Nothing outstanding but still pleasant when served cold.

From a twist off bottle. Pale with a slight haze. Slight hop nose. Taste is not as hoppy as expected. To call this a hoppy lager may be a mistake, its nothing like the IPL that I am familiar with. Yes, slight hop, but its more of the noble hop feel, laid back. Good co2. Goes down fairly easy but some of that slight hop bitterness tries to stick its head up in the middle. In the finish I almost find this stuff refreshing. Yes, this, by ratebeer standards, has got to be a Pale Lager - International / Premium. Hoppy like an IPL, it is not.

12 oz bottle with screw cap from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a large white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. Standard pale malt flavor too, maybe slightly softer than average. It also has a slight Euro lager taste, without the skunk and just a hint of hops. No bitterness. Not much of a smash. A very basic, easy drinking lager.
