Refreshing and tart Berliner Weisse with passionfruit. Crystal clear, light and intended for the long hot summers night. Passion fruit has been added as 4% of the weight of the beer – it’s freshness is very present in the beer which makes it a great drink to welcome guests with or as a perfect contrast to fatty foods.

On tap Mikkeller Reykjavk, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with juicy passionfruit, with tart citrus and some slight vegetal notes. Flavour is quite similar, with a vegetal-tinged passionfruit character dominating - secondary notes of tart citrus and gentle lacto. The passionfruit isn't as cleanly expressed as one might hops, but it's alright. Fun beer.
