Double Deka is a smooth and delicious chocolate stout made with rich Ghanaian cocoa nibs. This beer has been 10 years in the making. We used 10 x the chocolate that we used in Millionaire to really enhance the velvety sweet flavours. The result is delicious, enjoyable and will change your perception of what craft can be.

20th March 2023. Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury; five guys who love beer and talk bollox while drinking. Team bought 440ml can: BB 14th September 2023. Dark brown with an off-white head. Malty brew with chocolate aroma and flavours to the fore, some coffee esters and taste also. I quite liked it.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, March 23. Deep brown appearance, sparse off-white bubbles atop. Chocolate definitely in check here, mild chocolate cake element, deep brown malt, distant coffee, good body for the strength. Decent.

Can at home picked up from Wild beer online. A clear chestnut brown coloured pour with a decent khaki head. Aroma is nutty, dried cocoa, fruit and nut, cakey malts, faint earthy roast. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, thick cake mix malts, death by choc, creamy, fruit and nut, cocoa. Palate is thick and smooth, creamy, fine carbonation. Decent. not really 10X chocolate though.
