RERATE : DUE TO BEING SUBSTANTIALLY DIFFERENT FROM ORIGINAL REVIEW : Cask at Old Bell, Derby. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with minimal off-white head and good lacing. Aroma somewhat weak, but there are traces of melon, herbs and mango. In the mouth it is sweet but with some underlying sharpness. Flavour has tropical fruits, citrus and floral hops. Later comes hints of tangerine and a little bitterness leading to a slightly dry and fruity finish. In this format it is quite decent
ORIGINAL REVIEW : Cask at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky peach with a small foamy white head. Aroma has tropical fruits. In the mouth it starts off sweet and malty, before become quite bitter. Flavour is mainly citrus, chiefly tangerine but also hints of grapefruit. Some underlying caramel as well. Finish is slightly dry. This is OK, but not really my sort of beer. {original score 4:6:6:6:5.5 ]

[February 2022] Cloudy/murky gold with a frothy white head and a funky orange citrus aroma. Really smooth with dry citrusy bitterness and a touch of chewy malt underneath

Cask @ The County Beerhouse, Huddersfield. Hazy golden with a creamy head. Includes nice tropical fruit in both aroma and taste against a hoppy base, within a smooth texture.

'Twas in the darkest depths of Werrington, I drank a beer so fair... Handpull cask at the Ploughman, Werrington. Light golden with a good haze and a muddled little white head. Generous lacing. Bit citrus hop aroma with pink grapefruit flesh, fresh pineapple. A little bit of vanilla to give balance. Sweet taste, overloaded with hop for the ABV. The bitterness of the hop coats the tongue in the finish. Oily body, very soft carbonation. My goodness.
