Bottle shared at the Beau London tasting 11/03/2020. Many thanks to Tipple. A clear nutty brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is aged, liquprice, salty, brown sugars, rich toffee, . Flavour is composed of sugary sweet, brown sugars, dark grape, raisin, chewy sweet, . Rich. Palate is chewy sweet, lowish carboantion, . Lingering vanilla sweet, brown sugars, grapey.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Tips. Pours clear reddish brown with minimal head. Wow, great stuff, incredibly deep dark fruits, the rum barrel, some toasted caramel, rich toffee. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, a little sticky, raisins, caramel. Really solid.

On tap at Muted Horn, pours a deep dark mahogany with no head. Aroma is unbelievably complex, with loads of complex whiskey, light rum, caramel, and dark fruits. Flavour is near-cloyingly sweet, with an absurd amount of caramel, sticky toffee, brown sugar, followed by boozy whiskey, and a touch of rum. Lots of whiskey, with lots of sweet brown sugar. Lovely.

No kuzwa, jedno z fajowszych bw ostatnich miesiecy. Nie za duzo ciala moze, ale sliczna, karmelowo kandyzowano suszono waniliowo migdalowa paleta, slodziuchne. I rum do zgadniecia. Dla mnie klasa

Draught @ Panema, Helsinki. Heavy, sweet and soft with loads of barrel notes, oak, sherry, brandy, toffee and syrup, some green apples, prunes and plums. Quite intense and desserty barley wine. A bit too sweet and boozy though.

(Keg at Panema Kallio, 20191023) The beer poured dark brown and quite clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had raisins, prunes, malts and caramel. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, raisins, prunes, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A very sweet brew that managed to hide its high ABV quite well.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, 14th October 19. Pours a dark chestnut brown, no head. Aroma is dark fruits, Sherry, barrel. Taste is complex and full, dark booze soaked fruit, figs, prunes, Sherry and liquor, really great Barley Wine, wow.
