Pecan pie is a North American staple, especially at Thanksgiving! It originated in the 1800s in the south of the USA and has found popularity around the world, often with additions of bourbon or chocolate. This version of our Pardus series pays homage to the renowned dessert, with a nutty sweetness throughout, hints of vanilla and a great balance from the roasted malts.

Hops: Bramling Cross
Malt: Maris Otter, Munich, Brown, Crystal T50, Wheat Malt, Chocolate & Black

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and pecans. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Simplistic flavour dominated by pecan pie. Low to medium bitterness. Reasonably well made, but dumbed down with pecan pie, to a level not really worthy Thornbridge.

6th Floor bottleshare with the usual suspects. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Clear dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish malts, sweet enough. Vanilla, Creme Brulee. Mild nuts. Light and semi dry finish. Not bad.
