Flaska från Bierothek. Bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med lågt skum. Stor kropp med stora maltsmaker. Bröd, sirap, säd, kryddor. Lätt beska. Stilmässigt mellan en märzen och en bock. Välgjord, rustik och god.

0.5 l bottle from 'Meibier.de', best before April 2023. Almost clear, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly smoky, a bit roasty and minimally fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, some smoked and traces of raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly roasty, a bit smoky and minimally fruity taste of caramel, cocoa, toasted nuts, light raisins and a touch of smoke, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Super pleasant dark lager with a subtle touch of smoke, nicely smooth, fits very well into the dark season.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Tuesday 28th March 2023 listening to Billy Nomates before the gig tomorrow, having Chicken and Coffee Koftas. Pours dark brown with a light haze, nice dark fruity edge, some caramel comes through. Nice softness, good dark lager, not my favourite style but it's very decent.

ABV: 5.4%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, sweet malt, dark malt, nutty touch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, caramel, sweet malt, malty, bready touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20221229]

Optisch sehr dunkles Braun, fluffiger Schaum. In der Nase malzig, rauchig, ebenso dezenter Rauch im Trunk. „Fürn Durscht“ ja eher nix, aber wer Rauchbier mag, wird auch das hier mögen. Schmackhaft bekömmlich.
