Bottle, shared after a lazy meal with good cheese. Brown, slightly amber. Malty, burned rubber, wooden sweetness. Same goes for the taste, with the addition of creamy buttery sweetness. Good drinkability.

Bottle picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Marktheidenfeld and consumed at home Tuesday 4th November 2025 after a visit to Parsberg, Regensburg and Plattling with short walks around all three. Listening to ByteFM, we have a homemade Pastisio with Greek Salad for tea tonight. Pours dark brown, muddy actually more of a hazy appearance and an off white head that didn't last so long. Some sweetness, malty with a little dried fruit and a pleasant sat by the hearth in front of a fire warming quality to it. Nice

“Martinsbräu Doppelbock“, Bügelverschlußflasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Tiefdunkles Rotbraun, klar. Sehr probierenswert!

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A slightly hazy reddish brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramel, raisins. Taste of caramelish malt, medium sweetness, toffee, soft red fruits, okay!

Malty grainy beginning. Refreshing, smooth caramel with a fantastic dark malty background. Cake, bitter-sweet, nice.

330ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, red fruit jelly, notes of red and blue berries goes along with a herbal touch as if they were still clinged to their scrubs. Taste is initially dry herbal, later more sweet and fruity, again with notes of red and blue berries, before the sweetness transforms to chocolate, toffee, caramel; average to lively carbonation. Not bad.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thick tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and very malty with strong notes of caramel and alcohol as well as medium notes of bread, leading to a dry alcoholic and bitter finish. The alcohol tickles.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear orangey brown with a tall, dense, beige head that leaves some lacing. Distinct aroma of pumpernickel and roasted malt. Quite full-bodied with a solid malt base, roasted malt, pumpernickel and burned caramel. A little low in carbonation with some bitterness in the finish. Lovely. 291108
