50ml poured from a can at Hogna Bar, Bryggerifestivalen, third day. Dark golden body, misty. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface, upper part lacing. Smell of sweet caramel and oak. Honeyed malty flavours, woody. Warmth from the alcohol to a lingering and sweet malt-driven end. Slow sipper qualities. (Trondheim 30.07.2022).

Dark golden with a white head - Rye and wood vanilla aroma - Malt body with a nice wood and vanilla flavour with alcohol heat - Malt body with a wood flavour with alcohol heat - The wood and malt flavours with alcohol goes into the finish - This was good, but a little to much alcohol

From tap at Malt&Humle at Gladmaten, Stavanger, with JMD 27.07.19. Translucent golden. White head and lacing. Aroma of oak, sherry and honey. Similar taste.

On tap @ Melkebaren. Slightly unclear deep golden body with a small, dense white head. Aroma feels like caramel, dry fruit, syrup and lots of perfumed Bourbon. This is the kind of beer that I need to spend some time just sniffing and trying to figure out the aromas. In this case the perfumed Bourbon is getting more end more dominant at the total impression is getting less complex. Still find in rather pleasant and interesting, just more curious on how this will taste. The flavor was a little bit down from the expectation, lots of Bourbon and alcohol, sweet and boozy actually and not really complex, but totally drinkable. I just need to spend some time with this glass. Full bodied and a bit sticky sweet, boozy aftertaste.

Gylden brun kar med høyt eggegult skum. Lukter prim, karamel og vanilje. Fyldig. Smaker alkohol, brent karamell, noe trevirke og vanilje. Lang.

Heftig, men god.
