October 2019: 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Malty aroma, notes of dark bread, hints of caramel. Malty and rich flavour, sweet but not too much, notes of dark bread and caramel again.

Nja. Utfra etikett forventet jeg en maltrik bokk, men dette var nærmere en londonsk det porter på en overdose stereoider. En evt sødme og kompleksitet fra malt er overkjørt av brent korn bitterhet.

KØLF 231020. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, roasted malt, toffee, dried fruit, chocolate. Nice beer.

2019 edition tasted in October 2020. Almost clear dark brown to amber body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma is basically malty, smooth roasted dark malt and hint of caramel malt. Taste is sweet and smooth dark malt, caramel malt, some dark chocolate and hint of dry fruit with pleasant bitterness. Medium body and same malty aftertaste. Actually a quite straight forward malty dobbelbock, but tasty and well made.

Bottle. A murky looking dark brown beer with a nice looking dark beige head. Curtains. Roasted malts, dark dried fruits, hints of toffee and chocolate, and some burnt hints in the aroma. It's full bodied, smooth and semi-sweet, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, hints of heavy caramel sauce, some dark dried fruits, a hint of burnt malts and a touch of dark chocolate in the flavor. Lasting sweet malty finish. A nice one, perhaps a bit too bitter or burnt. 200711

Ultradyprød. Middels høyt lysebrunt tett skum. Daler sakte. Lett karamell/maltaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken karamell & tørket frukt. Innholdsrik. Tørr - lett krydret avslutning. Julefølelse!

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Mosjøen. Near black in the glass, added by a deep ruby glint. Spotty lacing from a patchy fawn coloured head. Promising dark malty nose, mid-dry. Quite well blended taste of dark bread, stewed fruits, and caramel malts. Mid-sweet malt-fruity ending, smooth. Fine depth. Pretty nice. (Hotel room, Mosjøen 31.10.2019).

Kveldens første flaskeøl denne Mi2 (nov-19): brunsvart med fint, storboblet skum som varer. Mørke karameller, solbær, melkesjokolade, hint av ingefær og furunål. Saftig, velsmakende og med utpreget mersmak.
