33cl bottle (no BBF date on the bottle) from Beerwulf webshop. Gusher after opening! F: big, tan, good retention. C: murky coppery, hazy. A: sweet malty, caramel, spicy, mellow fruity, peach, yeasty. T: sweet malty, caramel, mellow fruity, alcohol touch, toast, decent bitterness, high carbonation, not for the style but not bad beer if there was no gusher almost enjoyed.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25B-Standard). Bottle 33 cl - Batch A (BBF 2020.Q3). AROMA: medium saison esters (orange-like), followed by yeast background and slight caramel. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium beige head with average retention. TASTE: medium-low esters (orange-like), followed by a low caramelly-sweet background and slightly toasty. medium-low to low yeasty flavor. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. slightly astringency. OVERALL: a saison with a bit of yeasty flavor and a tad excessive bitterness.

Bottle. Color: Copper, off-white head. Aroma: Saison yeast, malt. Taste: Medium to over medium sweet, moderate to medium hopbitter. Saison yeast, peppery, light notes of caramel, floral hints. Light hints of rye. Medium to over medium body, average carbonation. A bit too sweet for me, but overall a nice and tasteful Saison.

Tap at Flink Gegist festival. Almost clear amber with light beige head. Light caramel, quite yeasty, soft rye, grass, bitter herbs, light dead yeast, a touch of plastic. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied.

7 3 7 3 14Draft at Flink Gegist Festival ‘18. Slight hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, dough, herbs, citrus and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Huge, dense, yellowish head, very stable over faintly hazy copper-orange beer. Creamy nose, touch of coffee, roast and even more toast. Green herbs, with wryness suggested. Wry-bitterish, and toast (the caramalts?) with some faint sugar - as if it isn't completely fermented out, an impression heightened by the arachide-like wryness, suggesting fatty acids. Some indifferent hopbitterness. Wry, dry-ish, not-quite-astringent. Quite slick, however and good carbonation. Oh well. Some minor faults, I suppose. 6/4/6/3/13
