(Bottle, Café Gollem, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2019) Reddish brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, toast and raisins. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, raisins, prunes, a touch of cinnamon and a mild roasty bitterness. More than medium body, quite sweet. Tasty and well balanced, possibly a bit on the sweet side. Quite nice.

03/05/2019 - 33cl bottle @Dynamo Bar de soif shared with rubin77. Clear brown, light tanned head. Nose is soft roasted malts, caramel, bready. Taste is toasted bread, caramel, bit chocolate, spices, bit yeast. Didn't expect much because of the cookie on the label but wasn't bad at all.

Süffiger, bitter-röstiger Antrunk. Milde konstante Süße, minimal Schokolade. Spritzig, relativ bitter, insgesamt halbwegs ausgewogen. Okay. 10/9/9/9//9

Bottle shared with Marte. Amber-brown color, medium sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, brown malts, earthy a bit in a good way, maybe distant cocoa notes, moderately bitter finish. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Quite nice. 8-4-8-4-14.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before December 2020. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly yeasty aroma of caramel, cookies, rye, some raisins and hints of clove. Quite sweet, malty, slightly bready taste of caramel, rye, cookies, a touch of raisins and hints of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly bready and a little roasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer but nothing I need to try again as I don't really like the bready touch. Still a decent beer, but with those two breweries you could expect a bit more depth or intensity.
