Can @Baghaven-Mikkeler in Copenhagen-Denmark. Black pour with brown foam. Nose: maple syrup with roast, vanilla. Mouth is burnt malts, vanilla, much roast.

Can shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours clear black-brown with a slight, creamy white head. Medium sweet flavour, ashy roast, burnt toast, burnt caramel, earth, booze, brownies. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more bitter dark chocolate, drying ashy roast. Nice, old-school stout.

Can. claims to be 12% not 11% as stated on ratebeer. Aroma of maple syrup, coffee, hard roasted malts, dark,perhaps even black caramel (lange jan, licorice caramel). flavor is roasted malts, coffe, caramel, dark chocolate, maple syrup, sweet and caramelly bitter at the same time. very full bodied, i don't particularly like the bitter burnt caramelly aspect of the flavor, it even seems to be enhanced by the maple syrup, perhaps. Decent imp stout but not one of the best.
