"I don't try to please when I play. I try to cure."

750 ml waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 10.3%. Hazy rosé colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived off-white head. Aroma of red grapes, funk, damp cellar and mould. Flavour of red grapes with tannins, wood, alcohol and noticeable bittering hops.

Bottled (thanks Arne M.!). Hazy rubyish red colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is red grapes, some oak, some and some sweet malts with some toffeeish tones. Flavour is red grapes, some tart fruity tones with oak, some vanilla and mild herbal tones. Smooth, but also some slight tartish sharp edge too.

Bottle @ company summer party. Slightly unclear, bright red body under a small off-white head. Delicate aroma, red berries, grapes, mild wood, slightly funky and slightly vinous alcohol. Taste is smooth with quite much of red berries and grape juice, mild oak, light acidic and some acidity. Medium body, but it feels perfect to this beer, same aftertaste that might have lasted a bit longer for my pleasure. Nice and refreshing, not very complex but well made, perhaps a bit soft edged but sure a nice refreshment.

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly hazy candy red beer with a small off-white head. The aroma has lots of red grapes, with a touch of acidic berries, oak, vinous alcohol, a touch of funk and some dark dried fruits. It's full to medium bodied, lightly warming and with some tannins. Red berries, red grapes, some oak and funk, a lemony touch and some hints of pale malts. Quite vinous all the way. Nice indeed, perhaps a bit too subtle. But I like the subtlety here. 211231
