IPA - New England / Hazy Regular
Score
7.55
ABV: 6.5% IBU: - Ticks: 9
IPA brewed with Pilsner malt, white wheat malt, raw wheat, and flaked oats, hopped in the kettle with Citra, Azacca, and Simcoe, then dry-hopped again with the same suspects. This beer is creamy, juicy, and dank. We're tasting a tropical fruit salad topped with gummy peach rings, orange starburst, and scoops of melty sherbert.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: nice looking cloudy orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: peachy, grapefruity, subtle danky and piney hop tones, nice clean malt base
Flavor: creamy bittersweet juiciness through the prior noted aromas; nice finish of the peaches and grapefruit
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under, sessionable; nice low carb, pretty smooth along the tongue, mild creaminess
Overall: a very nicely done NEIPA I would return to.

Nice thick creamy white head on an amber dirty dishwaster liquid. Aromas are a blend of citrus, resin, MJ and something damp. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, citrus dominates, with great balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good body and very drinkable.

Can. Very hazy orange with a stable 2cm doming white head. Aroma of a handful of fruity lollies - stone, citrus and tropical, a little acid. Soft and gentle citrus puddingy malt underneath tangy fruit. Not all that sweet. Not really bitter at all. Interesting and good.

Can picked up at Kihoskh 08/10/2023 Bright vibrant Stonefruit forward with lots of peach and nectarine, mango, getting some juicy tender satsuma segments, sweet creamy malty backing with a full mouthfeel, citrus rinds and a solid hoppy lingering finish. Great stuff.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma is herbal, dank, citrusy, floral and grainy. Pours hazy golden color with medium sized soapy off-white head, great lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and tropical fruity, following is resinous, grainy and dank, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Lush hoppy…

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours cloudy gold with a lasting, frothy, pure white head. Medium sweet flavour with dank, weedy hops, some tangerine, pine needles, pale bready malts, mild rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, more pale bread, weed, grass, pithy grapefruit. Enjoyable overall. It grew on me.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Hazed medium orange gold. Super sticky white foam. It’s a looker. Nose has dank and sticky hop. Sappy pine. Orange and lime marmalade. Clean malts. Taste is dry and crisp, pithy bitter. Drinks easy and fresh feeling. Foamy carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. Good gear. Over here at a great price too.

16 oz can from the brewery, 8/9/21. Pours a fully hazed orange color. Bright peach, melon, and mango. Grapefruit, pineapple, papaya all coming through too. Very juicy, but still enough balance that it isn't overly sweet. I wouldn't have thought of it, but just read the description, and the melty sherbet concept makes a lot of sense to me here. Really tasty.
