Keg @ Ebenezer's, Crewe. Clear deep amber appearance, off-white head. Lovely red ale, leafy malt, fruity, spicy hints with a nice mellow sweetness. Really good, my kind of red ale.

440ml can. Pours a clear ruby red, beige head. Aroma of fruity malts, caramel, citrus, pine. Taste is malty, dark fruits, syrup, caramel, citrus, pine, dry and bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Can at home, 8th December 23. Pours a good looking red brown and clear. Aroma is aromatic, caramel, pith, citrus and malts. Taste is pith, caramelised oranges, light medicinal notes, dry, and bitter, some resin. Great Red IPA

Keg at Sureshot Taproom. Pours amber red with a beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, marmalade, pine. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, herbal, grapefruit, caramel, pine. Towards dry on the palate. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Can from Cornelius. Clear ruby body with a few flecks floating around beneath an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and glazed cherry. Flavour of strawberry syrup and pine. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I love a red IPA, and this is a very good one.

Can at home, from Siren online, 17/11/23. Light reddish amber with a good sized lasting beige head. Nose is caramel malts, orange marmalade, herb, hop spice, earthy hops, pine needle. Taste comprises blood orange, caramel, pine needle, grass, herb, fruit slice, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Solid red IPA.
