5/VII/24 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent), shared @ the Gibb’s crib, BB: n/a, bottled: 13-14/VIII/21 (2024-485)
The plus, written in pen (?) on the label, is because the original Weekend, planned in 2020, didn’t take place and was moved to 2021.
Pretty clear orange to amber beer, big creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, pretty fruity, a bit oxidized, funky, a bit yeasty. MF: pleasant fine carbonation, medium body. Taste: sweet touch up front, very malty, some caramel, bitter, a bit soapy, funky touch. Aftertaste: bitter, a bit spicy, floral, dry, pretty bitter, funky, lovely!

75cl Fles van Etre Gourmet. Amber kleur, flinke witte kraag. Absint alsem, gagel, herbaal maar ook zoet, siroop-achtig, ambermout, hint van caramel en nootjes, fors bitter. Apart bier maar wel lekker, eindelijk weer een goed gelukte Fantôme na 3 minder geslaagde gedronken te hebben.

75cl bottle from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: huge, egg-white, long lasting. C: deep orange amber, hazy. A: orange, mint, hay, spicy, bit bready, thyme, coriander, citrus. T: medium to full malty base, orange peels, spicy herbal mix, citrus, hay, long lasting prominent bitterness, medium to high carbonation, very good as I expected.

Flaska från Etre. Bärnstensfärgad disig vätska med högt stabilt krämigt smutsvitt skum som liknar något som flutit iland. Oväntat massor av enbär i både doft och smak. Rejäl kropp, marsipan och fruktigt belgojäst, röda äpplen, julgran. Kul och gott

Bottle. Color: Clear orange-brown, large frothy off-white head. Aroma: Malty, herbal, bit yeasty and fruity citrus. Taste: Spicy, I find it hard to name the spices but I guess I taste a least notes of wormwood, rosemary and peppery notes, malty, subtle caramel and fruity notes of citrus / orangepeel. Yeasty hints. Light to moderate sweet, over moderate spicy bitterness, going to medium at finish. Long spicy and dry finish. Just over medium body, just under average carbonation. Another nice Fantôme.
