21/IX/18 - sample @ Borefts Bierfestival Day 1 BB: n/a - (2018-1367) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!
Pretty cloudy pale amber to orange beer, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of banana, sweetish, some caramel, band-aid, bit chemical. MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lot and lots of ripe to overripe banana, very sugary, alcoholic, malty, some caramel. Aftertaste: more alcohol, sugary, way too much sugar, yeasty finish. Don't like this one...

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Hazy, amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of dried apricot, peach, sultanas and some caramel. Fairly sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of peach, apricot, sultanas, vanilla and some caramel, followed by a long, moderately bitter, fairly boozy and slightly woody finish. Full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very saturating, intense and quite boozy, but way better than expected!

Sehr süßer Beginn. Süßlich, etwas holzig, unsüffig aber nie alkoholisch. Kann man machen. 9/10/11/10//10

Borefts 2018. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of pomegranate, spicy fruit, and sweet malts. Flavors of dull orange peel, dry toffee, sharp marmalade, a bit of grain and sweet sugary malt. Little hint of ABv except heat at the end. Sticky and sweet. I like.
