At 15% ABV, our Bigfoot Barleywine collaboration with Buffalo Trace Distillery is 750ml of immense flavor. Together we selected a lineup of rare Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. small batch bourbon barrels to finish a custom blend of Bigfoot Barleywine — vintages that had already been aging up to 7 years!
After a final year in E.H. Taylor barrels, the beer that emerged is simply unreal. The rich barrel character takes the spotlight, pairing beautifully with deep malty notes of caramel, burnt sugar and dark fruit. “If it’s not the best barrel-aged beer we’ve ever made,” says AHS brewer Nick Ison, “it’s the most unique.”
If you’re lucky enough to hold this extremely limited bottle, may you enjoy it alongside the best of friends and family.

Bottle shared at CBJ - picked up from SN UK online shop. Pours mostly clear amber-brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Rich, medium to heavy sweet flavour, notes of toasted toffee, vanilla, caramel, toasted wood, bourbon, mellow earthy bitterness. Full bodied, lightly carbonated. Warming finish, a little sticky, more vanilla, toffee, stewed fruits, dates, raisins. Outstanding.

CBJ tasting. Thanks to LKS for this prized antique. A light haze on this deep amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth caramel malts, not that sweet. Really nice rich but mellow bourbon. Rounded but muscular. A little bourbon spice. Smooth finish. Nice. Very nice!

750ml bottle pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet malts a great bourbon barrel vanilla kick and some hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet hop combo caramel bourbon barrel. This is the best Bigfoot I have ever had.

750ml.bottle from Cascade Club. It pours darkest brown with a hint of redness and lasting beige head. The aroma is fresh filthy bourbon character, bourbon soaked oak, vanilla, toffee, creme caramel, touch of coconut, dried fruits, sultana, raisin, fruit cake and heady booze. The taste is dry, chewy, toothy, snappy, oily, resinous, bitter - sweet, bitterness which lingers, bourbon soaked oak, heady boozy notes, vanilla, toasted coconut, nutty, leather, tannin, spiced, sultana, raisin, dried cherry, plump plum and fruit cake with a slick, woody bourbon finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Love it. Great depth, super flavorful and moreish. Rounded and quaffable. Grade A.
