500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe and shared with my wonderful other half. Mid-gold and, as befits the style, pretty clear and a big off-white head that holds for a while. Smells pretty heavily of overripe bananas, with some light citrus notes. Tastes sweet, lots more banana, some sweet spice. A touch of bitterness in the finish. Light body with robust carbonation. Pretty decent for a much-maligned style.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours an almost clear light golden colour with a large thick throthy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, apples, pears, bubblegum and peppery spice. Taste is very similar to the aroma with the same notes detected with a pear drop finish. Medium body, low carbonation on the palate and very smooth mouthfeel. Not my favourite style of beer but it seems like one of the better ones.

500ml bottle, online from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma: moderate yeasty, light banana esters. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, wheaty, the banana-y esters are more prominent than on the aroma. Light to medium body with frothy carbonation.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe; BB 10th Sep 2021. Poured into an old Hofbrauhaus Munchner Kindl weiss glass at home on 23rd Jan 2021. The first beer in a random tasting session with myself. I don't come across this style of Weissebier very often, rarely see clear ones, even in Germany. Anyway, this is a bright golden colour with a deep white head. The nose is very 'wheaty' with a banana/yeasty twist. The taste is on the same lines, wheat, bananas and yeast.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours crystal clear gold with a tall fluffy white head. Aroma is bananas, yeast, bread. Taste is well-balanced sweet and sour, bananas, wheat. Basically it’s what I expect from the style. And for that I am grateful.
