Emerald Ridge is a delicious West Coast style IPA with a grist of extra pale, Vienna, Dextrin and Caramalt for plenty of body. Whirlpooled with Chinook then dry hopped with Chinook, Mosaic and Idaho 7 for a complexity of piney resin and tropical fruits to satisfy those West Coast vibes.

440ml can. Clear golden amber, white head. Aroma of earthy pine, resin, grapefruit peel. Taste also prominently features earthy piney notes, resinous, grapefruit, some marmalade and mild caramel malts, solid bitter finish. Medium bodied. A decent westie but not one of their best that's for sure.

Keg at Radio City, Chelmsfaaarhhd. Near clear gold beer, small but tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a mild sweetness. Trace of grain. Light smooth pine. Modest citrus, ripe citrus fruits. A touch of citrus peel. Light and mildly crisp finish. Well, there is no overt caramel malts here, but otherwise, this brew reminds me exactly why I usually detest this style. There are some cracking exceptions but, here we have the old style, pretty well represented and really not my cup of char.

440ml can from Burnt Mill. Gluten Free. Clear golden colour, white foam head laving lacing and aroma of fruit, grain, hop. Taste is malt, grain, spicy citrus, pine, and fruity hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
