Light in colour, deep in flavour. Soak up bold citrus and fruity tropical notes in this refreshingly sessionable pale ale, brewed with Citra and Amarillo hops.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#7. WOOL. Drank this one in the Ship Inn in Wool, just across the river Frome from Woolbridge Manor - scene of the honeymoon in Thomas Hardy's book 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles'. Light golden with a mild haze, carbonated with a dryish-hoppy tropical fruit aroma and taste.

7/8/2024. Can shared by ITFCDan, cheers. Pours slightly hazy pale golden orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is buttery, sweet malts, caramel, stone fruits, veggie edge. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Slightly watery, soft carbonation. Fair.

Thin beige head on a dull golden coloured body. Tropical fruit & melon aroma. Medium bodied, lively with a clean back. Nectarine, melon, dusty & candy tadtes. Nice enough.

Can from Sainsbury's, Knaphill. Aroma is quite distinctive - herbal, citrusy, resinous. Hazy amber. Thick foamy white head. Flava we is talking stone fruit sweetness with a bitter streak; herbs, citrus and resin. Vanilla porridge underbelly. Although it some seems underpowered, it's just missing something. Light. Thin if slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.
