West Coast of England more like. Still, I enjoy it! Notes of toasted crackers, earth, dry pine, graham cracker, a hint of toasted caramel, mellow bitterness, British yeast. Tame but rather nicely balanced. Malty. Simple. Drinkable.

Can from Sainsbury's. Amber pour with off-white foam. Malty, minor citrus, mild pine. WCIPA my arse. Modest.

Can. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit aroma. Malt and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Malt and grapefruit linger with light pine.

Cans, gift from Mum. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain, orange zest and lemon peel. Flavour of grass, mango and a faint hoppy note. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s pretty good - nice balance between the sweet malt and fruity, bitter hops. This beer has improved since I first tried it 18 months ago.

Keg at Hall & Woodhouse, Portishead. Burnished amber with a white head. A little pithy grapefruit and pine before an increasingly assertive bitterness in the finish. Crisp and clean. I'd like the flavours to shine a bit more, but nevertheless this is definitely an improvement on Badger's normal dire offerings. Not bad.

Large foamy white head on a clear copper coloured body.
Malt, pine & butterscotch aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a foamy back & cloying aft.
Malt, red berry, resinous & pine tastes with a bitterly hopped finish.
Deece.
