Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As La Pirata El Molí (Anniversary 9+1 Theme Beer) ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, blackcurrant - blackberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, wood, balckcurrant - blackberry. Borefts X. I'm ten for ten! Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts and dark chocolate. Touch of milky coffee. Mild dark malt tang. Smooth finish. Nice enough.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival, Day 1. Opaque black color, full sized brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, dusty, earthy, slight minty / peppery hint in the background, firm bitterness (malt bitter mostly). Dry malt bitter finish. Medium body an carbonation. Ok but I don't get any blackberries.

On tap at Borefts '18. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of tar, lots of roast, coffee, burnt toast, hint of berries, chocolate. Flavour is malty, again lots of roast, burnt toast, tar, coffee, caramel, chocolate, hint of berries, bittersweet finish. Medium to full bodied. Good.
