Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A black beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of strong dark malt, grains, liquorice. Taste of sweet chocolate, liquorice, strong dark malt.

Borefts 2018. Day 1. Sampled draft. Thank you for sharing! Dark brown to black, solid creamy mocha head. Nose is weird liquroice, kitchen spice, bay leaf, stale alcoholic chocolate, powdery,… Way too kitchen spice, low chocolate, too bay leaves, mocha, dry, disappointing,… Dull powdery almost like BE stout. Fruit was lost.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is berries indeed, chocolate, tobacco, roast. Taste is chocolate, berries, earthy, on the sweet side, but balanced. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not bad!

Borefts 2018 On tap Pours black with full head. Aromas of dark berries, coffee and roasted malts. Flavors of smooth roasted malts, blackberry ice cream, sweet currants, dark chocolate and black coffee. Rich and sticky.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of nougat, mocca and some nuts. Medium sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and some nuts, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Tap at Borefts. Almost black with light brown head. Earthy roast, licorice, blackberries, dark chocolate, 🍫, dead leaves, 💀 quite some coffee. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied.
