For this small batch Druif, we macerated Aglianico pomace for over four months. We used three-year old lambikken only, rendering the weighted average age of the blend to over 38 months upon bottling. The final fruit proportion is 384 grams of Aglianico per litre of Druif.

Pale purplish and opaque. No head, pours quite flat. The aroma is vibrant grape. The body is vibrant, with a light bretty leathery bit, nice vinous character, and a slight off-dry woodiness.

Aroma: funky with a lot of nice grapes.
Taste: along the same lines, a bit woody.

750mL bottle at Lambiczoon, pours a clear dark amber orange with a small white head. Nose is complex, with barnyard funk, musty dry grape skins, and leather. Flavour has a wonderful grape skin complexity, moderate funk, leather, and gentle mustiness. Wonderful grape and funk combo as usual from 3F Druifs. Beauty.
Malm� September tasting (07/09/2024) - aroma of red grapes in the nose, taste follows, lots of grape, funk, grape washed wooden accents, barnyard, lingering grape infused finish.

0,75l bottle at freunderlwirtschaft, Vienna. Red hazy color, small white head. Smells red grapes, funky, spices, citric. Very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes red grapes, tannins, red wine, berry notes, citric, spices. Finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of red wine, tannins and spices. Very good, great grape notes, lovely

Bottle, 750 ml, shared at the charity tasting at Die Freunderlwirtschaft. Red with white head. Nice red grapes, funk, some barrel, medium sourness, juicy.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Reddish colour, small pinkish head. Aroma is funky, some tart wood, grapes and mild herbal tones. Flavour is tart fruits, mild funk, grapes and some herbal tones and a bit berries and red currant. Smooth and refreshing.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear bright red, small head. Tart, funky nose with leathery concentrated grapes. Tart with medium body and rounded mouthfeel, prickly carbonation. Horseblanket and mild citric tartness. Elegant and complex. Mild stale hop bitterness.
