Can@Zinc Craftbar, Vasa. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, some hazelnut and mild alcohol to it. Flavour is coffee, chocolate, hazelnut and some mild alcohol with a bit toffee too. Ends up a bit empty and thin compared to what Moersleutel normally are involved in. Good, but not a really smashing one...

Can 44cl. Black, low to no head. Coffee, and both smell and taste has something I can't recognize, can says hazelnut so maybe it's that. Intense.

31/VII/24 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Ardennes Holiday, BB: XII/2027, L909,0112 (2024-648)

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive, falls down quickly. Aroma: nice roast up front, alcohol, some chlorine, caramel, chocolate, a hint of kiwi. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sugary start, alcohol, good roast, alcohol, caramel, lots of chocolate, pretty bitter, dry, a little nutty. Aftertaste: more chocolate, chocolate milk, alcohol, slightly sourish, a bit nutty, more roasted, a little sugary, nice one!

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is ashy, smokey, not the thick hazelnutty, chocolate base I was expecting. Taste is sharp, ashy and soy, mild, very off-putting (fridge aged) chocolate. Hazelnut is hidden. Not great at all.

Can from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours opaque muddy black with small thick dark brown head. Aroma is intense dark chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, maple syrup, rum, oak, coconut and hazelnut chocolate spread. Taste is very sweet, light bitter and faint acidic. Body is light oily (towards watery) with faint carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with intense notes of chocolate, cocoa, hot cocoa, maple syrup, oak, rum, vanilla and hints of soy sauce

On tap. Nitro pour. Black with moderate foamy tan head. Aromas muted by nitro but getting both the hazelnuts and chocolate. Flavors of creamy chocolate, vanilla, maybe a bit of hazelnuts, and soft oily roasted malts. Not too sweet. Quite nice. And very unique for Portugal.
