Black topped with a tan cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is decadent chocolate, spice, dark malts, brown sugar melt.
Taste comprises chocolate, spice, raisins, dark malts, fruit cake mix, toffee, toasted brown sugar, reassuring bourbon shmack.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid sipper.

Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth, airy and a very slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, dark and slightly salty toffee, a touch of malt cream. Big ripe fruity whiskey, rich and ripe and layered. Chestnut barrel? Well there is a bit of nuttyness in amongst the rich BA fruitiness. Some alcohol spice. Smooth finish. A rich and ripe fruity ba barleywine.

Pitch black colour with small beige head.Aroma of whiskey and barrel also dark drid fruit and earth nice good full body and sweet warming mouth feels nice well balanced and smooth finish.

Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2024 (MBCC Yellow) 10/05/2024 Sweet toasted malty with lots of cable and toffee, cocoa nibs, full body, spice, lovely whisky infused action into the finish. Top drawer.

26/5/2024. Bottle shared by ITFCDan. From ColchesterCol. Pours close to black with a small beige head. Aroma is boozy, bourbon biscuit, chocolate, caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Very good.
