0.33l bottle many thanks to Lore. Pitch black body with basically no head. Aroma of coffee, nutmeg, caramel, coconut, spicy hops and subtle cigar notes. Taste of chocolate, caramel, coffee, plums, figs, wood, nutmeg and some licorice. The alcohol is wvery well hidden. Smooth and complex beer. Wow!

Bottle 330ml @ Patricks Pours black with no head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, vinous, coffee and caramel. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, vinous and cocoa finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat

Bottle, at Patricks. A flat, still, oily, black beer. Vinous aroma with roasted malts, cocoa, some dark chocolate and coffee, dark dried fruit and oxidation. Molasses hints. It's full bodied and warming, sweet, with a touch of carbonation. Tannins. Roasted malts and oxidation, molasses and dark dried fruit, burnt malts hints and dark chocolate in the flavor. Vinous. Lasting sweet, malty finish. Nice. 241001

330 ml bottle. Pours black with slight dark tan head. Aromas of chocolate syrup, dark sugars, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of cocoa powder and sweet chocolate syrup, vanilla, cakes spices, a bit of amburana and oily roasted malts. Thick. Warm finish but not giving away much of the ABV. Excellent.

Tap @MBCC 2024, Blue Session. Oily black, small tan head. Roast and coffee aroma. Sweet choc and coffee flavour, rich sweet malt.

almost black, mineral oil-like colour, moderate sized dense dark brown head; aroma of dark hot chocolate, vanilla, dried cherry, prune, some soy sauce, slight cinnamon, anise and coffee notes; tate is the same with syrupy notes and spicy chilli peppery aftertaste; great one!

Aroma: bourbon barrels, toffee and raisins. Taste: fudge, dark chocolate, oak red wine barrels and coffeeish malts. Warming mouthfeel. Next one, please!
