Nice big ipa with lotsa classic 90s vibes. Some good c hops with a firm bitterness. Great to see it come back. Het lagerhuys ams

33cl Blik van De Zythotheek. Mistig diepgouden / licht amber kleur, witte kraag. Zoet, fruitig, citrus, sinaasappel, marmalade, gesuikerde sinaasappels, perzik, alcohol, licht moutig, bittere finish. Medium body. Heftig, maar wel lekker.

(Draught at Walhalla Taproom, Amsterdam, 18 Feb 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, resin, dried fruit, candied pineapple and herbal hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, resin, dried fruit, bread, a touch of burnt rubber and a generous resiny/citric bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made, with an impressive hop character. Very nice.

On tap at Walhalla, pours a hazy bright golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out candies orange peel, subdued resinous hops, and sugars. Flavour is sweet and orangey, with lots of orange marmalade, subdued resinous hops, and candied sweetness. Too sweet and candied, not hopped enough. Not a disaster but this needs much more hop content.

Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 19th April 2023. Lovely outside in the sun. This pours a viscous orange. Aroma is like a beer brewing, fresh, candied oranges. Taste is bittersweet, caramelised oranges and candied pithy citrus. Very good and not too sweet

0.33 l can from 'Beerdome', canned in November 2022. Almost clear, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly resiny aroma of passion fruit, mango, pineapple and some pine. Rather sweet, very fruity, quite resiny taste of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, orange jam, grapefruit and pine, followed by medium long, rather bitter, minimally boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Lovely TIPA!
