A fresher take on the traditional Kellerbier style in collaboration with lager specialists, Braybrooke, uses classic Bavarian yeast, malt, hops, and brewing processes but was fermented on the hops for a delicate but bright hop character.

Pours hazed yellow gold with fluffy white cap. Aroma is malt, biscuit, grassy hop, light grain. Taste is malt, biscuit, light grain, grassy hop. Nice clean Zwickl.

44cl can achetée chez Malt Attacks, BB 31/10/2024, canned 31/10/2024.
Dorée, présentant un léger voile, col épais crémeux blanc.
Arôme présente une belle douceur de grains – céréales, un peu maïs, pointe esters qui se retrouve dans la levure avec une amertume houblonnée délicate en rétro-nasal.
Palais est crisp, houblonné noble, effet lager, céréales. Houblonné sur un apport floral, léger mentholé voire fleur de jasmin. Je note aussi une touche délicate poivrée et citronnée pour une fin sur un léger herbacé.

440ml can. Clear yellow, white long-lasting head. Aroma of bready pale malts, straw, faint floral and lemony hints. Taste of pale malts, grains, straw, floral, light lemon hint, bready, slightly sweet but dry-leaning. Very solid lager.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Cloudwater online. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of biscuity pale mats, cereal grains, slight bitter hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, notes of sun-kissed cereal, pale biscuits, straw, baguettes. Tasty stuff.

Can at home, from Cloudwater online 24/12/23. Clear golden with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is pale malts, grains, herb, hedgerow, biscuit, straw, faint lemon rind, light floral notes. Taste comprises pale malts, herb, grains, lemon nip, cereals, light bread dough, floral tickle, straw, grassy. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close. Solid full on flavour Keller affair.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is nice fresh cereal, rubber, fresh green grains, biscuit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, clean cereal grains, light grassy hop, crisp finish.. Really clem and easy.. Palate is crisp, light grains, highish carbonation. Good. Can at home picked up from Cloudwater online. An attractive golden coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is nice semi seeet, nutty cereal, leafy hop, grass, clean, . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty cereals, mineral, leafy hop, crisp finish. Palate is clean and crisp, highish carbonation, spritzy carbonation. Drinks good.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small foamy white head and good lacing. There’s malts and honey in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet with a creamy texture and medium carbonation. Flavour has malts and continental hops with underlying honey. Ater on there are traces of corn and vanilla (though not at the same time). Finish is quite sweet and a tad sticky. This is a really nice kellerbeer.
