Intense sweet chocolate malty with lots of hazelnut accents going on, some coffee roast, brown sugar, full bodied, dark malty close. Great stuff.

Can. Near opaque black brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Obvious rich and earthy coffee tempered by a lesser dark chocolate vibe. The toffee and hazelnut vibes are way under but not invisible. Some boozy spice before the finish. Tidy. Unusually for Amundsen, not that sweet. Rich and tasty, not entirely sure why but, it's not flooring me.

GYG 310824. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is toffee, dried fruit, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is toffee, dried fruit, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, nuts , caramel, alcohol. Very nice beer.

Can. A black one, with a small beige head. The aroma is quite sweetish, with toffee and dark chocolate, roasted malts and dark dried fruit. Alcohol. It's full-bodie and warming, sweet, with a gentle carbonation. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee notes and caramel in the flavor. Lasting finish. Nice. 240831

Can shared at Craft Beer Junction - many thanks to Mr. Frog. Pours black-brown with a foamy, khaki head. Big sweet flavour with sturdy dark sugars, some cherry liqueur, mellow earth, ample booze, roast. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with notes of ashy bitterness, dried dark fruits, berries, alcohol. Not bad overall.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to me. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a a halo of tan head. Aroma is nice coffee praline, peanut plastilerone alcohol. Coffee, liquor, big spicy coffee cake, Warming alcohol bit harsh.
