Hand pulled half pint in Cromwell's on 7th November 2024. Dark brown body, beige smooth head. Malty with a chocolate leaning, slight dry bitterness in the finish.

Cask @ Bailey Head, Oswestry. Deep mahogany brown appearance, cream head. Good presentation of dark malt and dark caramel notes, nicely balanced with an appealing sweetness.. pleasant dark mild overall.

Cask @ Gas Lamp, Manchester. Dark Amber-brown with a head. Includes excellent dark malts on the cusp of sweetness in both aroma and taste, with a 'mild' styling certainly evident.

1/3 pint, cask ale at Craft Beer Co. - The Bear Paddington. Shared with Finn. Near black in the glass, spotty lacing from a bubbly beige head. Slightly roasted malty aromas, hints of nuts and chocolate. Mid-sweet flavours of chocolate, caramel, and biscuit. Roasted endnotes, mid-sweet. Pretty good. (London, 09.02.2023).

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 28th January 2023. Deep sepia with tan foam and spot lacing. Sweet roast malt aroma. Roasty maltiness in-mouth and a sweet caramel malt finish. Smooth mouthfeel and light body.
