This Pale Ale is the perfect summer session beer which was originally developed by our head brewer. It is produced with vienna and marris otter malts using chinook and cascade hops. The beer has a delicious digestive flavoured base flavour with a really light finish provided by the floral, herbal aromas coming from the cascade hops.
Appearance: Light golden colour, white cotton like head, very slight haze
Aroma: Subtle background sweetness & spice,
Taste: Refreshing light malts, citrus & berry tones are nicely bittered with a slight effervescence lingering on the palette.

Pale amber, bubbly, scummy lace.
Big floral & black tea nose with some sweet pine.
Caramel, old hops, black tea pith, subtle orange, mellow, mold, earth.
Mid carb, tac-y, some acid.

Can thanks to Grumbo: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, earthy, piney, herbal, light citrus. Taste is hoppy, bitter, malty, light caramel, piney, citrus peel.

Can in Brighstone, IOW. Chinook, Cascade and Simcoe hops. Almost clear orange gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine enough. Light malts, a slightly thin but pleasing creamy sweetness. The trio of classic US hops bring crisp pine into light but bright citrus hops, some mild marmalade and bitterish peel but also good bright juicy citrus. Finishes light and crisp. Good stuff, clean, light and drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham / Grumbo, 20/08/23. Almost clear golden orange with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is airy malts, orange zest, grass, melon, floral notes. Taste comprises bitter citric shreds, citric tinged straw, hedgerow, herb, grass, grains. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Passable pale .... a little on the harsh side and over carbonated.

29/7/2023. Can bought direct from the brewery. Slight variation Pale Ale at 4% and now with the addition of Simcoe hops, but didn't thin it warranted a new entry. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, biscuit, grass, touch of pine and herb. Moderate sweetness with nice hoppy bitterness. Moderate body, quite oily, average carbonation. Very nice bitterness to finish. Enjoyable.

Pint can from Cheeseboard. Finally. my first Isle of Wight tick! That completes the English counties for me. Dark golden pour, cloudy, foamy white head, lacing. Aroma is malty, oranges. Taste is light caramel, orange peel. Nice hefty feel despite the low ABV.

1/3 pint, as Succession Pale Ale 4 % abv, on tap at Pilot Boat Inn. Upper part lacing on the glassware from a low white head, almost clear amber-gold body. Moderate grain-fruity nose. Flavoured with grass, herbal hops, and cereal malts beneath. Has got a satisfying bitter tail. Quite alright. (Bembridge, IoW, 20.10.2022).

Keg at the brewpub. Now 4.0%. Aroma is light and citrusy. Pale gold. A slight haze to it. Thin white head. Medium bitter. Tart citrus, a tad quinine. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Slightly chalky. Soft carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough.
