That was our idea on this mosaic filled New England, Double Dryhopped, Double IPA. 8% alcohol, just like his predecessor Mosaic Moustache. The New England IIPA is the style we turn to more often these days, and oh boy, do we love ‘em!

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy nose. Sweet malty, fruity, light citrusy hoppy and notes of spices with touch of caramel. Some alcohol as well. Bitter/sweet finish.

Can, thank you MonsterMagnet for this! Pours slightly darker orange, light haze. Nose is filled with tropical fruits, overripe and dank. Super fresh. Taste reveals more of that delicious dankness, body has some oily texture, hop oils still there, fresh and intact. 8% is nowhere to be seen, well balanced, drinks dangerously easy. I guess this beer exemplifies the fact why you need to drink your IPA's as fresh as possible.

Can. Golden pour. Aroma of lots of fresh hops, citrus, mosaic onion, bready malt and pineapple. Taste has juicy mosaic, onion, pineapple, citrus, bready malt, bitter herbs and orange. Nice, as expected. Indeed not very different from the earlier version.

Double IPA the New England way, can with lovely cartoonish label, thanks tderoeck for sharing. Thick, snow white, moussy, bit irregular, slowly opening head over hazy peach-hued golden beer. Luscious bouquet of lemon rind, orange sorbet, ripe melon, mango, papaja, passionfruit, honey. Tropical fruity onset, lots of pineapple, mango, carambola and lychee, medium carb leaving some subtle minerally aspects, soft, slick mouthfeel, white bread pulp maltiness drenched in tropical hop deliciousness, retronasally reminiscent of mango, lychee, lime, pomelo; very rich, aromatic, fragrant and citric, a stunningly beautiful finish of a great "parcours du goût". Very abundantly aromatic, rich, expressively tropical: this is a DIPA in the style heralded in Europe by Cloudwater, and very close to, if not at the same quality level if you ask me. One that re-establishes Uiltje's status as Holland's finest IPA brewery - to me at least. NEIPA is not my preferred style but if they come in this shape and form, then by all means, keep them coming!

Bottle (bd. June? '18). Murky yellow body, white head. Citric hoppy aroma, oats, shows its age with a bit of dust. Citric, atypical taste, maltiness, a touch of mayo? perhaps, full and nicely soft, maybe with a trace of NEIPA hop harshness that can pop up, but a solid beer that's likely excellent fresh.
