Pours hazy red with a pink head. Aroma has notes of malt, tartness, vanilla, yogurt and cherries. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium sour with a long vanilla, yogurt and cherry finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a fingerthick deep pink head over an unclear cherry red body. The aroma has a nice vanilla touch initially, soon blending very well with cherry and notes of lemon, white bread and yoghurt. A deeper inspection reveals some grass and herbal hints too. The combination of yoghurt, lactose, vanilla and cherry are done by many breweries, mastered by few. Lindheim being one of those mastering it, creating a superb balance. At least in the aroma, by I expect that from the flavor too. And as usual, Lindheim delivers. The flavor too blends the ingredients superbly, adding a light sourness and a grapefruity touch of bitterness. It's medium bodied and smooth on the palate, with a soft sour sting. The finish is the only part that feels a bit to focused on one ingredient, lactose, but it's still very nice. Sure a delicious beer, and sure one I'd love to see at around 6% ABV. 210606

Solliveien 130521. Deep red color with a pinkish head. Aroma is cherries, vanilla, yoghurt. Flavor is dry , cherries, vanilla, lactose, yoghurt, wheat. OK/Nice beer.

3-4-6-3-11 Bottle, #396, almost two months after bottling. Pours cloudy red, with a big creamy red head settling at finger thickness. Aroma is sweet fruity notes with lactose and vanilla, as well as cherry pits and fruity minerals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is lactic notes with fruity notes of cherry pits and rhubarb, as well as sweet lactose notes with vanilla. Unbalanced with waaay too sweet and overpowering lactose notes, but with a slightly tart, simple and somewhat more balanced finish.

Bottle from Gulating. Deep redbody under a short-lived pink head. Nice aroma dominated by red berries and vanilla. Taste is much the same but too much vanilla for my taste, the beer part is hidden bind the strong vanilla flavor. Refreshing sweet and sour cherry flavor but ends a bit one-dimensional as nothing else than cherry and vanilla seems to happen here.
