Zwart, mooi bruin schuim. Aroma niet heel uitgesproken, maar fijne romige smaak met caramel en lichte koffie. Lekker.

Aus der Dose im 2024-12 getrunken. Dieses Ale hat cremige, feinporige Schaumkrone wie ein Nitro-Stout. Am Gaumen zeigt es auch erst eine kräftige Mokkanote und eine deutliche Röstbitterkeit wie ein Stout. Doch unpassend ist der Hopfeneinfluss von HBC522 and Cascade wodurch ein unpassendes IPA/Citrus-Aromen wie von Bergamotte dazu kommt. So ist es ein Black IPA und keins was mir sonderlich Spaß macht, wo ich mich auf ein schönes Nitro-Stout gefreut habe.

Can from Kvickly Odder @ Home. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, pine. Flavor is light bitter, roast malt, chocolate, licorice, nice piney hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 181224

44cl Blik bij The Scrapyard. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Matige geur, licht moerassig, erwtjes, caramel, gebrande mout, ik weet het niet, iets is 'off'. Matig.

Can. Black with lastig creamy dark beige head. Deep roast, soft lime zest, grassy, coconut, cocoa, coffee, plums, raisins. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Nice hoppy stout.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - jet black with a nicely proportioned fawn to tan head. Nose - really earthy, saline, pine and dark chocolate. Taste - salted liquorice and brown bread. Palate - medium to full bodied, dry roasty finish. Overall - good, and very interesting.
