A fruit-forward ‘Kriek-inspired’ Wild Sour that embraces the deep flavour of whole cherries. Starting with the process of carbonic maceration to draw out the fruitiness of the cherries, we then combined this with a wild beer base to create a vibrant and deeply flavoured beer. The final result is a softly-soured beer with a rich flavour profile.

On tap at 73 Enid St. Pours dark purple with a decent pink head. Aroma is lots of cherry, sour funk, oak, a little white grape, jammy fruit. Taste is a cherry fruit bomb with the funky sourness crashing the party. More fruit then a dry oaky, white wine finish with more cherry at the end. Really well balanced. Superb stuff

375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 23. Thanks Simon for this! Hazed deep purple appearance, crimson pink-tinged head. Very full flavoured this one, good full bodied cherry fruit, good defined sour cherries, tart and funky in all the right places with smooth creamy moments.. very good.

Bottle. Looks the beans. Deep purple. Thick dense dark pink swede. Loads of bittersweet cherry. Almond. Super smooth smoothie like mouthfeel. Tart and simultaneously slick. Nice one out of a series that is so far hit and miss.
