Can at home, picked up from Bottleneck Broadstairs, 01/04/24. Murky soupy looking orange with a good sized lasting white crown. Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, mango flesh, melon, papaya, weed, mandarin, pine needle. Taste comprises ripe tropicana, orange zest, grapefruit, pine resin, papaya, mandarin, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Light creamy sweet pale malts. Light smooth piney hop intro. Whisper of savoury skunk. Luminosa really dominates any also-ran Nelson in this one. Juicy tropical fruits, bright as well, bright from overlaying citrus elements. Melon, papaya, sweetish tangerine, touch of candy fruits. Nice! Still looking for any Nelson character and coming up short. Track have managed to get some life out of it recently, but for me, this largely remains a zombie hop. It's not even moved on to something different to what it used to be, unlike Galaxy and Mosaic. Doesn't matter, Luminosa carries the day and does so very well.

440ml can. Drank solo first then blended as suggested. Solo: Murky yellow, big white head. Aroma of guava, mango white wine, slightly dank. Taste of ripe exotic fruits, guava, mango, papaya, some vinous notes coming through, white wine, gooseberry hints, light sweetness throughout and a touch of grapefruit in the finish. Medium bodied, soft. Excellent NEIPA. Blend (50/50 mix): Murky yellow, white head. Aroma is dank, weedy, tropical fruits, grapefruit. Taste is the same quite dank and weedy, tropical, pithy grapefruit, a bit earthy. It's an improvement over Beak's effort but doesn't match Floc's superior beer. Maybe a 75:25 ratio of Floc to Beak would've been ideal here.
