330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with a bit of fizz but little head. Aromas of dark sugars, toasted malts and a bit of alcohol. Flavors follow same with additional dark fruit and more noticeable alcohol. Somewhat chaotic and ABV is up front.

A: hazy black, small, foamy, beige head.
A: iron, coffee bean, prune, fondant, bourbon, liquorice.
T: sweetish prune & raisin; dark chocolate, bitter coffee, liquorice.
F: herbal & peppery hops, iron, bitter coffee and warming Irish coffee alcohol.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Quite hefty but enjoyable.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, metallic, oxidized, caramel, some cardboard, lots of CO2. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: a bit sourish, lots of alcohol, pretty roasted, bitter, a bit sugary. Aftertaste: good roast, a bit metallic, sugary malts, a little bitter, woody touch, smoky touch, sugary, decent!

33cl can, BB 06/2027.
Brune foncée, col café au lait, le tout sur un léger filament huileux sur les rebords du verre.
Arôme sur un bouquet assez malté - caramel, pâle, léger sur l'apport de Bourbon - pointe de barrique. Malt un peu crystal, petite note surfant sur des fruits secs et noirs. Ici aussi, le côté gros stout semble plus en retrait.
Palais est boozy d'emblée - Bourbon plutôt en retrait avec l'effet barley wine qui domine plus que sur la base de RIS. Petite note métallique, biscuité, caramel, cookie, petite touche cendrée/fumée avec une fine note de vanille en retrait. Alcohol burn persiste sur la fin.
