Can from Tavour. Pours clear mahogany with a large beige head. Aroma is light toffee/nutty/malty. Not quite med body. Flavor is toffee/nutty/malty. Fairly dry. Mildly bitter. Good flavor. Think it hits the style.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark clear brown pour, thin off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma, nutty, cola. Taste is woody, nutty, mild sweetness, dry. Seems thin, to me anyways.

On tap at Revolution Brewing Brewpub. Dark brown with medium tan head. Malty, caramel, toasted. Sweetish. Some cocoa. Light bodied.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty caramel malt with grassy hops, light brothy character, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light nutty notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at Revolution Milwaukee location.

5oz pour at the Revolution brew pub pours a transparent, caramel amber with some cloudy, white head. Nose has malty notes, toffee, a little loose leaf tea. Flavor has more nutty character to it, toast, still some tea, coffee, brown bread crust. Crisp finish.

Enjoyed on tap at Revolution Brewery in Chicago, IL while eating dinner with my bandmates. I enjoyed this towards the end of the meal and practically had to chug it before leaving, so maybe this isn’t the most accurate rating, but I remember it being pretty good. Definitely tasted tame, but not watered down, flavorful but subdued. Good stuff.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a clear brownish color with a medium tan head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Earthy malt and chocolate in the nose, plus a bit of fruit. Light and smooth body with a nice chocolate malt character along with notes of toasted bread, caramel and hops. The finish is sweet and malty with a lingering roast aftertaste. Above average session ale all around.

Hand pumped pint at Revolution, June 7. Nice Guinness cascade effect. Deep brown in color, deeper than a Newcastle. Toasty malts and hoppy smell. The taste is similarly toasty, but lets in some nice hop character.
