500ml bottle. Hazy orange copper body. Massive, tedious fluffy off-white head. Has a dry, grassy, earthy hoppiness. Considering this one is a few days past its expiration and made the trek across an ocean and around distribution, it has held up pretty well. On the fuller side of medium bodied. Chewy, nutty malt notes. Decent

Bottle from Malt & Vine (BB 02.18.2014) Pours translucent light amber with a creamy frothy off-white head. Aroma of light toasty malt with some hop that could be floral, grassy, herb - hard to get it. Med body. Frothy carb. Starts with toasty malt, goes bitter, and the hop suggests floral and herb. Maybe a bit earthy as well. Bitter it is! Good tasting brew.

Bright clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is crisp and semi dry. Smooth and light malt with a streak of bitter toffee and a touch of malt cream. Reasonable hops - light grassy pine and bitter marmalade. Finishes dry with a bitter linger, Well joined up.

Skunked bottle. Darkish amber with small thin head, but lots of lacing. I’ll try to find another sample, as this would otherwise appear to be a good brew.

Bottle from Rema 1000 - Amber pour with a thin bubbly off white head. Malty, caramel, nutty with a surprising hoppy finish. Ok.

Bottle at the GJBF 2013. For a bronze ale the color isn’t that bronze, more of a dark yellowish gold. Definitely using peated malts in the mash, smokey aroma with some fruitiness. The taste is very smokey, an interesting take but not what I’d call a bronze ale. It’s too bitter for me, just like their golden ale. An ok beer but not terribly to style.
