Like other Beer 52 pales of the shelf in Waitrose, this comes across as a bit faded. Still, there’s something to enjoy. Some lemon rind, pale bread, a little grain, biscuits, melon, white grape. Decent balance overall. Drinks fine but I suspect it could be more vibrant.

Can from a Beer52 four pack being sold off cheap at Waitrose. Lightly hazed yellow with a white head. Lots of prickly fizz - far too fizzy for my liking. Nice peachy whiff and initial taste fades into a light grassy finish with a hint of lime. Ok overall apart from the over-the-top carbonation.

Keg at GBBF 25. Sightly opaque gold. Thin foamy white head sticks to the rim. Aroma has low key citrus and malts with some sweetness. Flavourwise it's similar with a dry streak. Light-medium bodied. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Can. Pours a dark hazy orange colour with a tight white head, plenty of hops and citrus fruits in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness and a touch watery, with a soft fruity finish.

330ml can from Beer52. Semi-hazed yellow-gold with small white head. Aroma of lemon and orange zest, some pine and flora - not the freshest. Taste of melon, orange, hint of bread, some pine and flora. To be fair the flavour is a few notches above what I expected from the aroma. Near medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi-dry mineral quality. Not bad.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; lemony aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a sharp citrus taste and a bready body; then more tart citrus to finish. Tasty, but rather one-dimensional.
