A traditional Doppelbock fermented with an old world yeast. Reddish brown in color with a mild hop profile, Consecrator is a well-balanced, full-bodied lager with hints of caramel and molasses in its smooth, malty finish after spending 3 months maturing in our fermentation tanks.

12oz-er pours amber with ruby red edges and thin tan head. At times the aroma seems a bit earthy but mainly seems to emit light notes of dark fruitiness and winter spiced apples. The taste is sweet, as expected, with crystal like malts mixing with a dash of caramel and then rolling into sweet notes of prunes, plums, smooth sweet cherries and then followed by chocolate and a thin layer of dank musty earthiness. Pretty nice.

Melted caramel in color with a tan head. Caramel malts, molasses, some ripe fruits, maple syrup in the aroma, and very light hops in the aroma. Full, sticky, smooth body. Flavor has a healthy alcohol bite. Molasses, sweet caramel malts, light nuts, and some toast. Solid, but not outta sight. Still, I wouldnβt turn down another pint.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours a clear reddish copper with a large frothy beige head. Heavy malty aroma. Medium body. Mild carbonation. Flavor is sweet darkish malt, but there are other flavors. Dark fruits tending towards cola. Very pleasant. Seems to finish with a touch of treacle.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear red with a light tan head. Aroma is primarily of earthy minerals, with some dark fruit and a touch of coffee ground behind them. Flavor is a smooth, sweet caramel with chewy dark fruits and nuts. Hints of coffee and earthiness, with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Nice flavor, but the aroma puts me off a bit at first.
