Bottle: Pale greenish-golden coloured, slightly hazy; deceptively strong sweetish-aromatic-hoppy nose; mild, but distinctive bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF; lingering, soft, sweet-malty and finish with a good injection of noble hops. A very good Pilsener..........

Bottle. Pale beer, strong head. The aroma is lightly dry with a hint of sweetness, and the flavour is smoothly fruity dry. Overall a good beer.

Ok I swear to god this bottle is legitimately fresh. Best before (May?) 2007 drunk at Hollingshead Deli on 3/22/07
Lol, turns out the "fresh" bottle of Drakeβs Zatec Pils was not so fresh. Guess the owner of this place enjoys stockpiling pilsners that are really old. What an ass.
Finally a solid one, here. Delicious lemon sorbet pops right out of the glass, a beautiful mix of herbal/grassy saaz hop and moderated pils malt. Most importantly, you can smell the crisp yeast as it adds a light mineralesque character and definite dryness. Very lively maltiness is almost fruity in its honeyish nature. Strong aroma as well, with no flaws nor alcohol.
A surprisingly soft pils, with floral-like hoppiness setting in immediately, adding almost an oiliness, with lush, green hop flavor. It cuts in to the maltiness, which is well attenuated and minimally doughy for the style. A bit of carbonic flavors, and almost a saline-like flavor? But mostly itβs crisp yeast on the finish, with more lemon and peppery hop bitterness. Prominent carbonation keeps things quite drinkable, though it certainly pales in comparison to what a bottle conditioned version could be. Still, a mostly flawless and very drinkable rendition. Not stunning in any category, but soft and hoppy, with moderate dryness and no wateriness. Pale gold body is clear and topped by a fairly frothy, white head that is retained well and provides light lacing.

(bottle, as Marke Weltenburger Pils) Clear, pale golden colour with a moderate foamy blond head. Herbal, slightly grassy hop aroma with a soft grainy malty background. Medium-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Grainy and herbal hoppy taste on a well-balanced level; finishes with a rather mild bitterness but also with aromatic herbal and slightly floral hops. Well-done Pils, brewed in Regensburg.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm) Colour is pale yellow with greenish tinges, firm white head. Fresh, malty and bready nose with distinct notes of grassy hops. Fresh malty taste with a clean, grassy, hoppy bitterness in the finish. Long, almost metallic, bitterness, but still with a smooth mouthfeel. Dry all the way through. Medium body, falling through somewhat towards the end. Very nice and clean pilsener.

A hazy light yellow beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a dry hoppy end.

Fresh grassy and aromatic hop aroma. Golden, microscopic bubbles, lacing white head. The flavor has an overall field theme: Low level Hayish malt isbase for a nice grassy hop profile. Medium body, soft mouthfeel with a bit of tickling carbonation. Dry bitterhop exit. A quite nice pils.
