In the early days of Struise, Pannepot had a few different versions. Pannepot (regular) / pannepeut (slightly less rosted malts) , Pannepot Reserva (aged on wine barrels), and pannepot Grand Reserva (aged on wine + calvados barrels) . Other barrel types ( such as Port) were released under the 'Pannepot Special Reserva' brand.
Over time, things have gotten a bit less clear, and now special versions have also been released as Pannepot Reserva, whilst some red wine barrel aged versions have been released under 'Pannepot Special Reserva' .
We - The Belgian Admins of Brewver - have decided to keep this entry only for the Wine BA versions of Pannepot. Either marketed as Reserva or Special reserva (essentially the same beer, different batch). If you happen to know the specific barrel (which was sometimes stated, but not always) you can rate that as a batch here. For other versions ( Bourbon BA, for instance) there's another entry.

37,5 cl bottle. Hazy deep brown color, with almost no head. Aroma is more liquorous than regular Pannepot, licorice, toffee, a bit smokey. Taste is more round than regular version, sweetish, spicy, vanilla, licorice. Almost no carbonation, the years in barrel seems to affect this. But delicious.

Bottle as my Christmas Eve treat. Nose is red wine, raisins, plum, slight balsamic, soy, apples, red berry, as it warms chocolate. Taste is big red wine, red current, slight leatheryness, apples, jammy, plum, balsamic, caramel, raspberry, a subtle chocolate, cherry chocolate, bread, spice, a pleasing emergent sherry, hints of salt and soy, more chocolate, wood, hazelnut. It's an outstanding beer, it's been too many years for me to have a clear enough memory of the original to do a proper comparison but this is outstanding.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2018, Day 1. A black beer with a small beige head. Aroma of red fruits, riped dried fruits, wood. Taste of raisins, caramel, strong riped fruits. Slightly boozy.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 1. Dark brown going to black. Nose is alcoholic malt syrup and slab of sugar. Taste is dark bread vinous malt syrup, all plain sugar syrup with vinous streak, all sugary malt syrup like Pannepot is these days not a fan at all plus vinous. Sigh.
