0,5L bottle (from Stockmann). Pours amber with off-white head. The small head stays for some moments. Aroma is bitter, grass, toffee, alcohol, and caramel. Flavor is sweet, fruits, citrus, grass, caramel, and toffee. Overall: didn’t like the aroma, but otherwise ok brew.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Pours clear amber with medium off-white head. Fruity nose, full taste with a lot of orange and uber sweet malts. Nice full, long-lasting flavours. Very nice.

500ml bottle: BBD 31 May 15. Last beer of a long day on 18 Jan 15. poured a clear, clean amber with a full off-white head. Malty and fruity with a little orange in the aroma, the taste carries along the same lines as the nose. The hops seem to hide behind the maltiness somewhat but overall this is a good blend of flavours, semi-sweet maybe, but a pleasant enough brew in all aspects.

50cl bottle from Crafty Pint. Appearance - copper with a decent fluffy head. Nose - toffee and gentle biscuits. A bit grainy too. Taste - tangy fruit, hard to define which, more toffee and malt. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. It’s very refreshing considering the strength. Overall - it’s not bad, but I wouldn’t go looking for another.

Nose is a muddle, tropical which fades quickly then biscuit, caramel, slight cherry. Taste, is also odd caramel and butterscotch, leading to slight strawberry from the yeast, lychee and berries. Mouthfeel is very good. It’s a muddled beer which doesn’t work for me, not awful, just not good.

Bottle at home: the last survivor from Sainsbury’s 2013 Beer Hunt. Dark gold with ample carbonation. Hazy. Toasty malt and peaches in the aroma. Taste is bittersweet, full of malt, well-balanced. Satisfyingly long finish. The intensity created by the malt bill and the swaggering Amarillo hops almost give this beer the feel of the DIPAs I have had (at 6%)! Must find this one again.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Dagan. Clear golden. Aroma of floral and weedy hops, slightly grassy and slightly fruity with a bit of malt. Flavor has a bit of sweet malt, a bit honey-ish, with a bit of fruitiness, light floral hops and some bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from Sainsburys in Watford. Poured a clear light amber with a medium white head. Aroma of grassy hop, caramel and boiled sweets. Flat malt on the initial flavour with some brown sugar and spruce. Finish was really astringent bitterness with copper and wet grass.
