Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, caramel, dried fruits and hint of cooked vegetables. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeast and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

500 ml bottle @ Kick. Beautiful dark ruby red body with a moderate sized, lacing beige head. Aroma is mostly malty with some dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit and low bitterness. Solid body and average aftertaste. Decent sweet dark bock, not my favorite style but otherwise OK.

Bottle, at Kick. It pours a light hazy dark chestnut colored body under a small off-white head. The aroma has a light vegetal touch, with caramel, dried fruits and a touch of hops. Quite bitter in the mouth, with caramel, dried fruits, some grapefruit and a touch of yeast. Full body, pleasant carbonation. A decent beer, nothing special going on though. 141206

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 10.11.14. Hazy brown. Small beige head. Aroma of medium dark malt, glue, overboiled vegetables and green apples. Malt sweetness, green apples and unripe plums in taste.

Rerate, new labelled bottle straight from the brewery, as Nua Juleøl. ABV is 6.5%. General impression is much the same. Original rating: Shared 500 ml test bottle from the brewery. ABV unknown at the present. Deep brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderately spicy aroma, some caramel malts. Nice and medium sweet and malty flavour, caramel and spices.
